V-Code stands for verification code. It is the confidential numeric code that you select to authenticate yourself with DGA representatives. In order to request information or make changes to your account, you will be asked to provide your V-Code. Each authorized employee should have their own V-Code.

Without this verification system in place, anyone could request a schedule change to your security system, for instance, leaving your business vulnerable to unauthorized individuals accessing or changing your information. V-Codes make sure that this won't happen and are an important part of a comprehensive security plan at DGA.

To create or update a V-Code, you must be a Master User on the account. Master Users can create or update V-Codes for any users on the account directly from the DGAConnect portal. If you forget your code, a DGA representative will send a one-time verification code through text or email depending on your preference.

If you have any additional questions or need to update your V-Code, please reach out to our Customer Care team at customercare@dga.com or call us at 800.221.2300.
